Today I'm recording this a day later. Because, yesterday (Tuesday) I was rather engrossed in working on my family ancestry page on my website. There is a have with multiple pages regarding my family history, ancestry and Heritage.

One thing I did today, Tuesday was to post in the Minnesota Norwegians Facebook group the request for spelling pronunciation for my last name Jordal. And I immediately started to get responses that felt very good to me. 😄

One was somebody essentially trying to hack into my post by asking for something that she wanted. 😒 A woman that was asking regarding her family name. But I hid that comment with little shame or feeling bad because that's exactly what she was trying to do. Even though she may not have been clearly conscious of it.

But here's the one thing I want to make sure I include in these notes. One of the women had commented on my question post actually when on Facebook messaging and recorded her voice saying my name as she would say it, in Norway. It struck me so hard that I started bawling. Tears started streaming, I think because it was such a direct connection to people living in Norway. Something that I've been wanting. And here I am walking through the process of getting it. Showing that way it did strike a chord that was much deeper than what others might see on the service.

Also in the series of comments word links to actual digital archive information about my family. So that added to the personal nature of the connection from all these people in the Minnesota Norwegians Facebook group. BTW, I'm a member of several groups, if not many groups associated with Norway in Norwegian heritage, in Norwegian genealogy.

I also spent most of the time today, also working on my website. Specifically, Jordahl ancestry page. And, made some good progress. As far as the general overview for the day. It's been weeks, if not months, that I've gotten into a habit of waiting until the end of the day to shave and shower. Today, Tuesday was no different. But what I did do was to wash my face, take a shower and wait until the morning to get back into the rhythm of shaving in the morning.

90% of this post, if not 95% was entered using voice recognition. It's awesome! It was also entered using my phone. And, I'm not able to edit the text the way I want.
