Healing with Music

To be clear, this is not a blog post.  This is a simple forum topic that I started to use to prep for publishing a blog post with the same content.  So far I don't believe I have published this post content yet.  I still may sometime in the future, when I am so moved.

I guest I'm still figuring out how I want to develop this process of thinking of blog ideas, develop the content and then publish it.

I probably should just make this forum private, and when I'm ready publish the content on my blog.  But, I still like the idea of allowing people to see this process and content.

Stay tuned, and be prepared for tweaks and adjustments.

PREFACE

I first started this post on October 9th, after I heard the cover video of "California Dreamin" by the Mama's and the Papa's covered by the Foxes and Fossils. Because the song touched something deep, and the fact that I was such a Foxes and Fossils fan, I was inspired to start this post.  The only thing I can say is that this is all part of my process, and wearing my heart and emotions on my sleeve is part of it.  Having said that, my "process" is NOT about being weak, or unable to manage my feelings.  Quite the opposite!  Bottomline, my personal strength and practices essentially conflict with so many people being out of touch with their feelings, and therefore out of range of healing!  Over 37 years I have been learning and living through this process of relief and healing that has, at the same time, proven to be strengthening as well!

The thumbnail or "Featured Image" for this blog post is a skyline view of the San Diego, Coronado Bay Bridge, with the city of Coronado just behind it.  I believe it was the 70's when I watched that bridge being built out in the bay.  The header image above is of the wonderful Coronado Beach and surf, with Point Loma jutting out on the horizon.  As a teenager, I brought my bike on the bus over the bridge, then proceeded to ride through San Diego, and out to the end of Point Loma, to the Lighthouse and museum.  And, back home!

It's all about the the Harmony!
