Life in Norway: Walking Tours

Life in Norway is headed up by a British transplant named David Nikel.

David and "Life in Norway" is based out of Trondheim, NO.  FYI, mother's family has deep roots in the Trondheim area.

"Life in Norway" is a website/blog, YouTube channel, podcast, and probably more.  I first learn of David on the Podbean Podcast platform.

About Walking Tours

David (or his associate) records video simply walking through a given city, or area within a city in Norway.
These are select videos within the list of videos on their YouTube channel.

The videos below are my own preferences and selections I have found on his/their channel.

It seems there is no talking, just the sounds of the place itself.

My great grandfather, Ole Nilsen Jordal (fathers' fathers' father) was born in Balestrand.  As far as I understand he was a houseboy, and a blacksmith before immigrating to America in 1892.

My interest here is generally about Trondheim, in Sor Trondelag.  That's south Trondelag (county)

My mother's family has deep roots here in the Trondheim area.
